Kayla, born on January 1st 2007, is out of Windmeres Christmas Angel (Rylee). Rylee set an all time UKC Top Ten Point record for Goldens in 2006 with 195 points. Kayla is owned by Tom and Cathy Griffin of Gingerbred Goldens. The Sire is Hearthside Think Different, MAC, an AKC Champion, owned by Danny Noto. Kayla started showing in puppy matches at the age of 3 months, and has four Best in Show puppy wins and one Reserve Best in Show puppy. She received her Grand Champion title at 8 months and 3 weeks of age, and also went Reserve Best in Show the same weekend! Kayla is the youngest Grand Champion Golden Retriever in the history of UKC. She took that honor over from her mother, Rylee who recieved her Grand Champion title at 9 months and 3 weeks. Kayla has taken over the ALL TIME TOP TEN point record from her mother Rylee. She finished #1 in the Top ten in 2009 and set a record of 217 points, the highest number of points for a Golden in the history of the UKC. She also received two Best in Multi-Breed shows and 2 Reserve Best in Multi-Breed shows and one Reserve Best in Speciality in 2009.
